
TEA + NATURE RETREAT
JULY 27-28, 2019
Welcome to our first tea + nature retreat. The focus of this retreat is on the importance of water in a Tea practice. We will gather our own spring water from an artesian spring and perform a water comparison experiment.
We will begin in Brooklyn with meditation + breakfast before driving together to Stokes State Forest. Below you can find more information about the schedule, location, and what to bring.
This trip will have periods of noble silence. Please refer to the schedule.

Note: Activities marked * are to be conducted in Noble Silence. This means refraining from verbal and physical communication.
LOCATION


We have 2 lean-tos reserved. They are small minimalist cabins. Each sleeps 6 people. We must bring our own bedding.

Bathing Suit - There is a spring and a lake that you may want to visit.
This retreat is shared on a donation basis. We welcome your generosity upon completion of the retreat. Donations beyond the food, travel, and accommodation costs will go to the Light Meets Life free tea center fundraiser.
